With features like mail on the
move, instant messaging, unlimited storage and easy emailing facilities, Sky
Yahoo Mail is certainly one of the most preferred email clients available. However,
users while using Sky Yahoo mail may face certain problems which can prevent
them from getting access to the mail. In such scenarios; instead of worrying
about; you should ideally follow the below mentioned steps to fix the problem
if it is occurring in your PC:

- Check the service status page for any kind of general issues. In order to check the status, you will have to use username and password or enter the Sky talk phone number.
- If there are no service issues; then make sure that the date and time settings on the computer are correct. In case you are using Windows Vista, 7 or XP; right click on the time option at the bottom right of the screen and choose Adjust date and time. When using Windows 8, go to the top right side of the screen and choose the option search. Choose settings and type ‘Date and time’ and select the date and time app. For Mac OSX, on the right hand corner select the time and then choose date and time preferences.
- Sky Yahoo mail does not support web browser like Internet explorer; so make sure that you are using either Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari etc. and also make sure that JavaScript has been enabled.
- Now try to sign in using the correct user name and password. But if you find that the inbox of Sky Yahoo Mail is not displaying; then switch to basic Sky Yahoo mail.
- In order to switch to the basic version, choose the gear icon in the upper right corner of the window and choose Settings
- Then in the next step on the left hand menu choose viewing email
- Now, select basic next to mail version
- Then select save and you will see that the basic version of the mail has loaded.
Please note that at any point you
can return back from the basic version of the mail; by following the simple
steps.
In case Sky Yahoo mail is not
working on your mobile; follow the below mentioned steps:
- Go to settings and check if IMAP and POP settings are correctly entered in case you are using iPhone/iPad
- Similarly in case of Android or Blackberry, make sure that the incoming server settings and outgoing server settings are correctly entered.
- Now sync the contacts with your mobile device and make sure that the password and the username are updated correctly.
Now, switch off the mobile and
switch it back again and see if you can send mail. This should ideally work
perfectly now, but if it still refuses to work; then contact the experts on sky
email tech support number. At times, the email problem may occur due to
a Sky server outage. In such cases, it is recommended for the users to wait for
some time until the outage has been cleared.
